Time Warner Cable Informative - Highly Unreliable Customer Service
I have Time Warner for both my cable and internet. My internet stopped working over a week ago and none of the troubleshooting options helped. I scheduled a service call for that Friday (five days in advance!) between 3 and 5. They called daily to remind me of my appointment and confirm that I still needed it. Let me also add that I work every day until 6 pm, including the weekends for the next few weeks. That Friday was my only day off and therefore the only day I could get the internet fixed, since Time Warner only operates until 5 pm in my very metropolitan area (the fact that they only work normal business hours understandably makes it extremely difficult to schedule appointments!). Of course, on Friday they called to confirm my appointment and then NEVER SHOWED UP and didn't even call to say they were running late. I spoke with a supervisor who assured me they would make an exception for me on Monday and come after 6 pm to fix the internet. At 3pm (the middle of my work day) they called to say they were on their way!! The lady that called back after I told them to come later said that even though it said to come after 6 pm on my request that they couldn't accommodate that. (Never mind that it would have been after 6 pm on Friday when they didn't show up!) After speaking to yet more supervisors they are trying to reschedule for tomorrow. I haven't had internet in over a week and seriously doubt that I will anytime soon. My apartment complex requires that we use Time Warner but I am seriously considering switching to another provider due to this inconvenience and horrible customer service experience.
