Direct Energy Texas Complaint - Fraud & Extortion

Direct Energy solicited "power to go" as paying $15.00 and delaying bill by 30 days. Well, in reality you had to pay for electric as you go.

Without any notice and paying my $15.00, they cut off my my new "power to go" account and refused to return me to monthly billing. And also refused to credit me the $170.00 I paid them. Pure fraud and extortion. Now, they are getting ready to cut my electricity off again.

I have contacted the Public Utility Comm again and hope for results and recommend anyone avoid Direct Energy and file their complaints formally.

Complaining to the PUC is a waste of time. This guys are on this crooks side. Don't waste you time .Use other company.
