The Pilot Store in Council Bluffs Complaint - Will not honor Arby's Coupons as of 9/18/2011

Review by dcksnfrd 39 on 2011-09-19
The Arby's inside of the pilot truck stop refused to honor Arby's coupons on 9/18/2011, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

We have traded there often and the clerks have always accepted
the coupons.

It might be that the personnel at Arby's should be told that THEY ARE ARBY's and NOT Pilot.

They are an Arby's store that is owned by Pilot. They do NOT work for ARBY'S they work for PILOT. They probably stopped taking the Arby's coupons because Arby's stopped honoring them.

I know that Wendy's, McDonald's, and Subway stores inside Pilot travel centers often don't participate in chainwide or regional promotions either, although the McDonald's would participate in the nationwide Monopoly game that McD's has every year.

Almost every coupon or promotional offer I have seen has a disclaimer such as "valid only at participating locations". Many fast food franchises are not corporate owned but owner/operated. Rarely does corporate require a private owner to accept a coupon or promotion.
