Dish Network Complaint - Amazing amount of complaints about Dish, I'm sure they earned everyone of them!
I've only had dish for a couple months, I've heard the horror stories but I figured I have really low expectations and no intention of calling "customer service" unless I absolutely had to. Guess what, less that 2 months in, I absolutely had to. The installer they sent was unprofessionial to put it mildly. You have to swear a lot for me to even notice it...my husband and I both said "wow!" at this dude. He said words I don't even know. And he made a huge mess of attic insulation on the floor, it's like he went out of his way to kick it out of the attic and left it for me to clean up. But the thing I had to call about is that he told us he could not hook up our on-demand because our router was not working, but we just needed to call when we bought a new one and they'd install it. I even offered to run out and buy one because that sounded too good to be true--yeah, it was. After contacting the installer twice and dish's worthless customer service twice, dealing with their website that kept timeing out, calling phone numbers where people transferred me to other people who transferred me to other people, I'm told I have to buy a $25 part, hook it up myself, etc...so I'm going to buy the part--AFTER I do AT LEAST $25 worth of negative feedback for their company. So far I've got two people to sign up with Cox instead of dish. So ha, ha, Dish, how does that math work out for you. Maybe you should stand behind what your unprofessional installers do. And I'm so canceling when this contract is up.
