North America BanCard Complaint - Hidden charges and failure to divulge termination fees

Review by sdullarddvm64 on 2011-09-21
I found after reviewing my statement that I have been charged $11.95 (Mybiz perks.com)plus a $5.00 debit fee per month for a service I had never requested or had knowledge about. It happens this perk is administered by North America BanCard also. I also inquired about terminating my services and I was told I would have to pay 600.00 per account (I have two locations)to terminate the services plus return the equipment usde to process cards. This was never spelled out to me. I have no problem returning the equipment but there should be no termination fee for services that will not be rendered especially since the company has been billing for unrequested services and breached our agreement. I would not use this company.

I feel compelled to comment every time I see a complaint about these guys, which is quite frequent here.
How many times do you really see B2B complaints at all on gripe sites? Then how many times (if ever) do you see credit card processors being complained about? It's insane how unhappy people seem to be with these guys. I can't believe they haven't been either shuttered or sued out of business by now.

One of the biggest problems with these rouge payment processors is they have a very good lobby group in D.C. and have kept the Fed's out of their industry. They self police and self regulate themselves. So when a company like this continually rips business's off there is no one to go to complain. As a group they handle more money than the banks but answer to no one.
