Dish Network Complaint - Cancel due to lack of service, always a problem
Naturally like everyone else I liked the deal for #24.95 with a two year contract. We have it at our vacation home in North Carolina and everyone can save money. I was loyal for two years which I committed to but every time I turned around my bill was higher and higher. Finally it was $104.00 per month for the same thing I originally had without the movies of course. When I called to cancel they said I still owed $120.00 for cutting my service short. This is not the case, I have all my bills (I keep everything) and they said I didn't even with the proof I had to pay and write a letter or they would sue me. Then they said I needed to send the boxes back and they would send me the packing boxes and I needed to pay $15.00 each for the UPS. Well like most people I paid the $120.00 just to get rid of them and then I got a bill for something that is on the roof (long drop down if I fall) on the dish. I asked them first to send somebody out as they hooked ut up to begin with and put it high on the roof and they said no they don't do that. Now they expect me to get a little part off the roof? I am 83 years old what do they think I am going to do. I have had nothing but problems with Dish Network from the beginning. If you live in Florida or North Carolina you better think twice about their service. They charge up front each month, they will try and get every dime they can from you and lousy service too. I hope there is a class action law suit as I will be first in line.
