Jeep Complaint - Real Bad Repair Record With Me
My 17 year old's first car is a 1999 Jeep. I have restored almost everything on it with Jeep products at Ross Jeep co. in Boone North Carolina, Richard Miller is the manager. I took the car to them to repair the guage cluster. nothing was working, the check moter lightwas on, the gas guage did not work, seat belt light was on, the air conditioner did not work. ect-ect, they said they could fix it. they called and said it was ready to go later that day. I picked it up, and on the way home apprx. 1 mile from ross co. the guage cluster went out did not work any more. I called them that evening (Ross)and took it back the next, they called said it was ready, I paid them again and went for home, did not go but one mile and it happened again. I call (Ross)took it back the next day. The service person told me he would put someone else on it and for sure fix it. After I( paid $520.and change I went for hame again still not to mad until it stoped again, the first thing I did was pay $28.00 to stop payment on the last check to ROSS co. And I called again and the service person was very nice, he said he thaught the problem with the AIR BAG light was a spring in the stearing wheel so, I took in back the next day to have the spring PUT IN, To make a long story short, I got two miles away from ROSS CO. and the AIR BAG light came on again, with all the other things still not fixed. Now the 1999 Jeep is parked, I can not let my 17 year old drive that car after all these messups with all the safty facters involved and I am out all that money and time that I was so understanding about all this. I need the JEEP CO. to look at this and do something about the people working on all these safe cars that they brag about on TV and everwhere long lasting only if they have realible repair people to work on them, ROSS CO. in one word SUCKS AT THAT I have bought two cars and a piackup from them ROSS CO. in the past seven years an not all the repaires have been pleasant or correct on any of them. I wish JEEP could talk to me about this matter, but I have received nothing from them, even Michele Manley has a filter on info that gets to him?????. I could go on and on but All I want to do is give this 1999 Jeep ledaro to them and let them practice on it until they can get it fixed without me paying for it. and oh by the way I'll trade the 1999 Jeep for a 2011 CHEVY.
Thanks for the space
