Hewlett Packard Informative - Technical Support - Lap Top Computer Hp Pavilion Windows 7

Review by mjbguera82 on 2011-09-22
Don't buy one. I'm taking mine back to Costco. The screen freezes up every 15 to 20 minutes. When you finally do get technical support, they can't speak English or Spanish as they are someplace overseas. I suspect India.

The lap top came advertised as having Wi-fi built in. From what I was able to understand, I need to buy more equipment and an additional router and get wireless service from another company.

I can handle technical support in any one of the two principal languages of this country [English and Spanish] as I have taught both from K through Spanish IV at the university level.

Hewitt-Packard prefers to pay workers overseas under a one watt lamp rather than provide its American customers with intelligible support.

I find myself eschewing tech support these days in favor of googling issues myself. It has proven to be more effective and less of a headache.
