Abe's of Maine Complaint - Defective TV
I purchased the Samsung 64inch 3D Plasma TV from Abe's of Maine. It took almost 2 weeks to arrive. Once the TV was plugged in, the TV would shoot a burst of color and would not turn on. I just paid $3000 for a TV that wouldn't work. I called Abe's of Maine and they said it was a Samsung issue and directed me to their technician. I ended up speaking to the office of the President of Samsung. They basically stated that 90% of the retailers out there would have accepted the TV back as a return and would have shipped a new one out and that I should never have bought the TV from Abe's of Maine. Now I have to wait a couple of weeks for Samsung to repair my brand new TV. If I were you, I would A) only purchase a TV from a company that will accept returns and B) Buy Sony.
