Verizon Wireless Home Phone Complaint - Rip off as they sell service with a 2 year commitment and it does not work
I was induced to sign up for home phone service with assurances that if it did not work, I could rescind the contract. LIE! It doesn't work at my location... weak signal as verified by Verizon tech support... and when I attempted to cancel the services I was told I would have to pay for 2 years for services that did not work... no cell signal at my fixed location.. IE residence. I was told I cannot get out the contract.. after only 3 weeks of attempted use.
I am forced to pay for the next two years for a service that doses not work... Verizon tech support advised that cell signal received was not strong enough to support my usage.
There is no avenue to complain at Verizon... as they do not provide access to such complaints via web site... customer service cannot process such requests. thus: Verizon has ripped me off.. and wish others to know of their tactics. Their customer satisfaction statements do not hold weight as there is no access point to terminate service because the service one is obligated to pay for is not available. Ripped Off!
