Continental Airlines Complaint - Air breathing may be hazardes to your health

Complaint
Review by ceagliozzo39 on 2011-09-24
On a recent flight from Ashville North Carolina- Tues 9/20/11 at 6;30PM to Newark Airport, I cannot begin to describe to you hqw awful it was when I alighted from your plane! Almost on Q my nose & eyes began to tear & run like a faucet. Iwas illfor 3-4 days therafter! I am a former physician now retired. To me it was a severe old fashioned "Cold" probably from breathing the recirculated infected air on your aircraft. Obviously no filter maintainence had been done. ! Masks would not filter these viruses only decent maintainence!.

As a retired doctor, don't you find it unusual that you showed symptoms of a cold or flu as soon as your disembarked such a short flight? Normally viruses take a lot longer to incubate after exposure.

Maybe you were exposed before the flight, or you were allergic to something in New Jersey since you say your nose started running as soon as you got off the plane and not on it.

I know with the horrible ragweed here in Dallas this month, my allergies go crazy as soon as I land too.

He flew through NJ - that explains a lot.
