Verizon Complaint - Sent a bill after service cancelled and expects it paid
My husband and I called to cancel our service with Verizon, due to signing a contract with Direct TV. Direct TV offers television and internet. 2 months after cancelling, we received a $133.00 bill. We called Verizon, and they stated that that was the bill for our internet. When we said we cancelled our internet, they stated that they had no record of that on their computer system. We stated that we had thought it was cancelled when we had made rhe phone call to cancel Verizon services - Ryan Barnes, Manager employee # 50563 said that at the time of cancellation, a second phone call had to be made to cancel internet service - that of which was not told to my husband when he called to cancel all services with Verizon. We never used their internet (and Ryan told me that he was unable to check usage) He refused to credit the bill for services in which we did not use or want!!
