Wal-Mart Great Value Brand Complaint - Bugs in Great Value Pastas
I just threw away three more new boxes of Great Value brand pasta due to infestations. Look in the box or dump it into a bowl before the pot. It expires in 2013. This time Ziti and Rotini. Last time I tried to make a similar dish with rigatoni Great Value pasta this happened. Small white worms float to the top of the pot as soon as the tainted pasta hits water. I'm again stuck with a huge pot full of waste to dump. I also have Barilla campanelle in the pot, which I found no bugs in the box, but am too grossed out to cook. After two tries I'm going to boycott this Great Value pasta. Spend the extra money or clean the nasty mess. I'm sure Wal-Mart doesn't care about consumer complaints so report it to friends and online instead.
