Greyhound Trasportation Complaint - Total disregard or sympathy shown for customers
On Saturday September 24th. at 3:15 P.M. I caught the bus from Las Vegas, Nev. My arrival time was Monday evening at 4:15. My day to return back to my job. But sometime Sunday morning the bus broke down. We were told it would be approximately 3 hrs. before another bus would come. But instead some mechanics were dispatched to the scene and we were back on the road in 2-1/2. Now behind time and lo on cash we arrive in St. Louis bus terminal we go to the ticket counter to find out when our next connection home is they re-issue us a whole new set of tickets saying that our travel time of departure will be at 1-20pm that after noon which we arrived at 5:35am. They never offered any kind of compensation not even a meal ticket not to mention now I'll be two days late for work a diabetic with nothing to eat thank god my uncle sent me money to eat with. what happenened to common courtesy for your patronage. I couldn't even borrow the pen at the counter to fill out the paper work for the paper work for the western union. Not to mention there goes my bonus for my perfect attendence at my job. I think judging from conversation some of us will think long and hard about leaving the driving to the dogs next time and maybe taking a flight on the wings will be an alternative to think about.
