UBS Complaint - Fraud
At the beginning of December 2004 I agreed to get a credit card from UBS. They were to take the amount of $354.00 from my checking account, and I was suppose to recieve a Gateway computer along with a credit card with a $2,500.00 limit. UBS was suppose to take the money out of my acount on the 20th of January 2005. I called UBS on January 4th 2005 and told them that I have changed my mind. DO NOT TAKE ANY MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. On the 20th of January they still went ahead and took the money out anyway, after I called them 16 days ahead of time and cancelled!!! Since then I have been calling a number the company being CCR, and faxed CCR a copy of my bank statement to prove that UBS took this money out of my bank. CCR told my that I was on a waiting list along with about 20 other people that are waiting to get their money back too. CCR told me that UBS is known to take money without permission. I have already notice the legal department of this matter. They told me that this is fraud and action will be taken. I want my money to be returned back to my account as soon as possible. Or I will go ahead and sue UBS for more than the amount that was taken from me. I talked to CCR and they told me that they have all the information of this transaction if I need it in this law suit. I would like to see if we can get this matter dealt with as soon as possible!!!!
