Greyhound Bus Lines Complaint - Privacy Invasion - Restrooms Womens

Review by eddie67200863 on 2011-09-28
On 9-27-2011 at 730 pm my wife was in the rest room the maintenance man went in with her in there. He did see her but he never left the room. That was wrong. We did inform the officer that was there about it. Nothing ever took place. My name is Leroy Helwig. If nothing is done about this there will be a law suit about this. I would rather take care of this now and something be done about it asap.

Thank you.
Leroy Helwig

Please email me with what you plan to do about this with in 72 hours or I will get a law suit going about this matter.

While it is very rude for a maintenance man to enter a bathroom without closing it down or announcing himself, I don't think it is illegal unless the intent was to perform a crime.

Was the man actually working on something broken while your wife was in there, or was he just staring at her?

Was your wife standing at the sink? I assume that if he saw her, and didn't leave, she was properly dressed.

I don't see anything illegal here, as written. As the previous reply suggested, it probably would have to involve intent.

There are so many broad decency laws on the books I wouldn't be so quick to say it's not illegal especially when we don't know the jurisdiction covering this bathroom.

Simply put in any rational mind it's inappropriate for an employee to enter a bathroom occupied by somebody of the opposite sex. At the very least this maintenance man needs a reprimand.

Forward your complaint to whoever manages the bus station so perhaps this won't happen to somebody else.
