Yogurt Shack, Tualatin Oregon Complaint - Bad coupon policy - Yogurt

Review by obrien108228 on 2011-09-28
Both my kids brought home a couple coupons for buy one get one half off at the Tualatin location, thow we purchased 4 yogurts they would only accept one coupon and was unable to split the order to two orders. Thumbs down for poor customer service.

Sometimes such coupons say "One per party" or something like that. Did this one?

I agree obrien, that is poor customer service. You should have been allowed to use one coupon and one of your children the other in seperate transactions. Consider speaking to the manager and corporate, one or both may agree with that premise and possibly offer to compensate you in order to restore your goodwill and retain your business.

Next time read the disclaimers really carefully and then when you go in make sure you place 2 separate orders.

It's not always poor service just because they tell you "no"

many places limit the amount you can buy per transaction and what they consider to be a separate transaction.

why? Blame people who take their coupons and try to buy everything and leave nothing for other customers.

many stores have decided it's more cost-effective to just piss off one customer by telling them "no, you're limited in what you can buy" vs pissing off all the other customers who miss out on the sale because one person was greedy and bought it all up

So silly splitting hairs over what constitutes an order or who's in your party when we're only talking 25% off on a four yogurt order.

If it were me I would have just left leaving them holding the yogurt.
