Verizon Wireless/Communications Complaint - Their Idiocy Leaves Me Speechless
I had a bundled account because I had wireless service and internet. I moved at the end of August and when I went to shut off my service the young lady NEVER told me that I would receive a separate account number for my wireless service on it's own (pretty simple right). She never explained anything to me. I continued making payments to 'Communications' and then I start getting calls from 'wireless' saying my account was past due. So I called and had communications transfer the money that was owed to wireless which was no problem and they told me it would take them at least 5 days to do that. Then while waiting for them to get the money to the other department, I start getting messages telling me that my phone was going top be shut off unless they get a payment today. Called wireless back and gave them the small balance they were asking for. I would NEVER recommend Verizon to anyone. What a cluster f***. The left hand doesn't have any idea what the right hand is doing! Either that or they hire substandard employees who only tell you part of the story. My plan is to pay them off to get out of my contract (which in and of itself is ridiculous - I guess I have to pay them to just go away). If this were the last wireless company in the world it should be the LASt one that anyone chooses to saddle themselves with!
