Northbay Cadillac, 730 Northern Boulevard, NY 11021 Complaint - Do Not Honor There Agreement
I leased a Hummer H3 from them in 2008 the lease was due in May 2011, I received a notice from them in about January, 2011 that if I return the vehicle on Feburary 28,2011, lease another I will not have to pay any penality for early termination, which I did also they would take care of the excess mileage on the Hummer, which I did believe and I did.
I took a new lease on 2/2811. with the assurance that they are genunin, but not so.
In April I received a letter from The finincial Bank for the Hummer that I owe 2 Months payment, Excess mileage, sales/Use Tax on excess Milage/Excess Wear Charge, total $1,181.86.I contacted the sales agent whom say he would take care of it.
About 3 Months later I receive a call from Ally Bank asking for the Milage cost, I explain to them what was agree by the salesman, did not hear from them. I call the salesman and his Manager, which assure me that they would take care of it. Did not hear back from them until I had a call from a Collecting agency demanding $1,181.86.
I call the agency and let them know that I do not oew that amount, I explain the situation and they advise me to call the salesman, which I did he ask me to submit the insurnce policy for the New Lease vehicle which was dated for 2/28/11.which I did on 9/27/2011. Still waiting to hear from him.
On 9/28/2011 received a letter from Ally stated to pay $524.05 this letter was dated 9/19/2011.call ally to varify and was told to call the collecting agency. I call the and Fax them the letter and pay the amount of $524.05.
Please this is what Northbay Cadillac of NY did to me I would not recommend them to anyone.
