Proper billing on Line of Credit. - Complaint
We closed and moved all our business accounts out of Capital One location once they took over from North Fork Bank where we had always had our business. Capital One couldn't keep a single teller or branch manager with experience in our Village on the East End of LI. The familiar faces, systems, processes and products were replaced by poorly trained, revolving door automatons. Once we closed our accounts a monthly statement had to be mailed as an invoice to the company address for payment of the Line of Credit as it used to be deducted from our account. There was no system in place to handle this event. When it was explained to the branch manager that it was the banks responsibility to know the amount due, and to bill it to the proper address and to show where the amount was to be sent, we were told that since this product was not sold anymore, THERE WASN't A WAY TO SERVICE IT. So instead of invoices Capital One jumps ahead to late notices.(Late notices is one thing they have a system for) They now take out monies due on the Line of Credit from my own personal account. Capital One makes the same mistakes over and over and over, it takes weeks to get things corrected, and there is no one of authority to make things happen. Capital One is not credible, or capable of your confidence.
