Whirlpool - Washing machine is a lemom
repair of washing machine that was out of box failure - Complaint
Washing machine delivered 8-2-11. I was on vacation for 2-1/2 weeks and then the dealer( P.S. the dealer Maytag All in One is GREAT) was on vacation. 8-31 service man arrived. Did diagnostic. Needed a part which I believe Whirlpool sent via PONY EXPRESS. 10 days later.. Parts don't work. Tech Service have him reorder parts again which I believe were sent via PONY EXPRESS again. 9-27-11 parts don't work again. Whirlpool tells him they are going to replace machine and will call within 24 hrs. 24 hrs no call. I called dealer he said they told him 48 hrs. 48 hrs no call. I called dealer again. Finally receive a call on the 29th They are going to send another person to look at the machine. I said I want a new one. Yes I was really nasty on the phone. They will be here Monday October 3rd. They have had this problem since 8-31 and have NOT RESOLVED it yet. The machine has never worked. You would think the bottom line of the entire Whirlpool company depended on this one machine. In 2008 I purchased 4 JennAir appliances. We just bought a new place and PURCHASED 4 Maytag and 2 Whirlpool product(Washer/dryer compacts). Previous to these purchases I had all GE that I purchased in 2003/4. I have had experience with new appliances. THIS IS A LEMON. Whirlpool is being short sighted. They should take care of their customers. They tell me there is no lemon law for appliances.
