Sears Informative - Bad Lawn Tractor
After purchasing a Craftsman Lawn Tractor, I soon became concerned with the roughness of the transaxle shift. On numerous occasions Sears assured me that the operation was perfectly normal. In approximately 3 years of light use, the transaxle failed completely. It took a $100 service call from Sears to determine that it was totally destroyed. Repair would cost about $500. My contacts with customer no-service achieved nothing. I urge yo to avoid this store (and its lack of concern with customers)like the plague.
