Dick Poe Jeep Complaint - 2 And A Half Months...No Jeep

Review by topgunnerkoolhandkc61 on 2011-10-01
I am a soldier stationed at ft bliss. I blew a valve seal on my 2007 Jeep Rubicon and took it to Dick Poe Jeep. Normally I would do this work myself as I am somewhat skilled in mechanical diagnoses and repair. But soldiers really don't have a good place to do major repair on base.(Our autocraft shop blows!) So I dropped it off in July being told they would check it out the next week. I called a week later and the service adviser said they where too busy but that he'd get to it next week. This went on and on for over two months. I finally got fed up and I think the service adviser could tell in my voice so he got it in the bay. It took an additional two weeks to diagnose the valve seal. He said he'd send it out to the machine shop for repairs and that I should have it by the next Friday. It came and went. The part had not even come back yet. Here we are in October and I still don't have my Jeep. Had I known I would be treated this way, I would have trucked it back to home state of Arizona, stripped the head and done the work myself for what will probably be cheaper by thousands of dollars. Do not use Dick Poe for service!!! They are jokers!!!
