I recently purchased a "refurbished" laptop from Newegg, which I was lead to believe was a more recent model because it had the latest operating system loaded onto it. The one I got was even older than my current model. The battery needs to be replaced and the computer sometimes won't come on, and then won't stay on.
I contacted Newegg about returning it and they basically said "buyer beware". They will not take it back and told me I should take it to Apple for repairs because they don't troubleshoot.
They do not stand behind what they sell and the advertisement is misleading. They are rip off artists!!

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Newegg returns, including returning a laptop that was an "open-box" buy that I just didn't like. Nothing materially wrong with the computer
