BMW of Austin, TX Complaint - Bad customer servvice and poor quality cars
I have a 2006, 330i BMW, under an extended warranty. It covers nothing. I also have towing services. It is not covered unless it is towed to a BMW dealership and the one in Austin was closed for two days. I had to have my car, so I took it to Firestone for a new battery. My towing cost $100.00. I also had to get rid of the run flat (thank goodness) tires and get new ones. I bought my tires at Discount Tires, not BMW, that charge you an arm and a leg. I took my car into BMW of Austin, so they could turn the silly lights off, and they told me that they would have to take off all 4 tires. What? This is insanity. That's like saying I have a sore throat and they want to take out my pancreas. BMW treats their customers like crap, they are greedy, they lie to you, and the warranty covers NOTHING! I had an appointment with a service tech, set up by the Manager of BMW of Austin, and the tech. never showed up for the appointment. This is the norm, not the exception of BMW. It's called GREED! I will never buy another BMW ever! Poor workmanship, car is cheaply built, recycled plastic that peels, and the car has too many lights that pop up and gadgets that make no sense! Put into the recipe shoddy workmanship and poor and nasty customer service, and you have a recipe for disaster. They deserve a "F"!!!!! Their mantra is "Screw the customer and separate him/her from their money. Don't buy a BMW!!!!
