Travelocity Compliment - Reservation changes
DENVER, COLORADO -- OK, first, purchasing the tickets and hotel reservations was pretty easy, as is anything when they want your money. I booked a trip to go see my daughter graduate from boot camp in the Army. I booked this trip, hotel and flight, on June 19th, for August 25th. On July 20th, I called to make a change. I had to leave from home a day earlier, on the 24th. Systems were down, please call back tomorrow. So I did. This went on for days!!! Finally, on last Saturday the 29th, they seem to be able to make the change. It is gong to cost me $151.08. OK, I can deal with that, I am making changes and I need to pay for the flight change and the extra day at the hotel. No problem. But when they go to charge me for it, systems are messed up, hold please....15 minutes later, systems still down call back 24 hrs. CMON!!!!! So I call back the next day, OK...systems seem to be running better, AHHHHH Now it will be $287.00!!! LIKE HELL!!! I have a fit, get the supervisor, and he threatens to just note my account so that no one will take my call! REFUSES MY BUSINESS! So I call back, get someone else, threaten lawsuit, (which by the way I have already talked to my attorney and he is researching what can be done), and suddenly they are nice. They have to charge me the full 287, but will refund me the difference. They ask for 3 days, and they do give me my money back. But I will NEVER deal with them again. Their site doesn’t work and their people are rude, and can barely speak English. What a waste!
