Dish Network Complaint - No Doubt the Worst Company Ever
I signed up with Dish Network with a two year contract. Much to my family's regret we found that there were a lot of channels but most were duplicates of the same shows, just a different channel number applied. After the contract had completed its term, we decided to switch to another service. My wife called and cancelled, and the customer service representative confirmed the cancellation and said they would be sending boxes to return the receiver.
Two months later we found out that they had not cancelled our services and had charged us with two more months. The representative who spoke with my wife refused to discuss the issue unless the bill was paid. So....he lies the problem. They say they never got the cancellation and refused to return the two months after we had cancelled the contract. Then they said that they could no longer talk to her about the issue, because she was not an authorized person on the contract. Funny, her name is with mine on the original. She has paid the bill for two years and had no problem taking her money for 26 months.
They insisted that I call to cancel the contract. The following day I called and was put on hold for 47 minutes before I just hung up. I called back and and punched the button that I wanted new services from Dish Network. My call was answered immediately. Funny again! Then I spoke to someone in another country, whom I could not understand. I then spoke to her supervisor, who told me I had to call another department. I called that number, waiting 12 minutes this time, and spoke to another person with a thick accent. They said I had called the wrong number and sent me back to the original number. I got pushed off to two other numbers before coming back to the first department where I started. The pot was boiling by then.
They stated the service was never cancelled and refused to refund my two months. Then they wanted me to box the damn receiver and send it back to them for another $16.00 out of my pocket.
BEWARE OF DISH NETWORK!!! I have heard nothing but complaints on the product services and customer services. I had to find out for myself. No doubt the worst company providing television services or any other service for that matter.
