Hotmail Complaint - Charging to reset a password

Review by teddiegram191 on 2011-10-07
My e-mail got highjacked and Hotmail wanted $259 to scan my computer and then I told them to just cancel the e-mail address and they wanted to change me $70 to reset my pass word.

I think you are still getting scammed. I have an old hotmail account and I just changed the password for free. Your computer is still infected.

I also looked at my hotmail account, and the password reset is free.

Do you know someone who can check out your computer for you?

Thanks for the warning, so others who may be getting the same response will be on alert.
