Econo Lodge - Choice Hotels Complaint - Worst CHOICE I ever made was to stay here!

MASSACHUSETTS -- I recently booked a trip to Boston with my siblings this fall. After a great day in the city we arrive at our hotel and the manager tells us that he does not have a room for us. We had booked the room a week earlier and held the conformation paper in our hands. The manager at the desk was very rude and was not willing to help us. We spent over an hour trying to get the room that we had paid for. He informed us that there wasn't an available room anywhere for 40 miles. After refusing to help us any further, we left to go spend the entire night on a cold concrete airport floor. In trying to communicate with Choice Hotel's and Econo Lodge after the incident, they brushed me off and would pay no attention to my story. Please do not stay at an Econo Lodge, if you are PAYING an organization for their services they should as least treat you like a human being!

This irritates me too. I see nothing wrong with a hotel requiring a non-refundable deposit on a room -- BUT THEN MAKE SURE THE ROOM IS THERE AT CHECK IN!
