Santander Complaint - Santander bought my auto loan from Citifinancial

Review by sandra.bolt5275 on 2011-10-17
DALLAS, TEXAS -- I had an auto loan with Citifinancial. It was a simple interest loan.
My loan was sold to Santander. They use the precomputed method on my
loan without my consent. I can't pay any extra money towards my
principal amount. Therefore, I can't pay the loan off early without
being penalized. This is ridiculous. I have never had this happen,
and I have bought many cars. I have researched this and there are
many complaints and many class action lawsuits being filed for this
reason and many others. I am ready to file a lawsuit too.

Ms. Bolt, I would have a chat with DebtorBasher. She worked in that sort of field and has a vast storehouse of knowledge. I went through something similar once. I was selling encyclopdias, and my manager talked me into joining a health club. They sold the contract to a finance company who sent two goons around at midnight twice. They finally took me to court, and when the judge saw proof in the contract that I was nineteen, and it was clearly stated in the paperwork, he threw the case out. In Indiana, you have to be twenty-one to enter into a legal contract.
