Travelocity Complaint - Deceptive Business Practice
AUSTIN, TEXAS -- Your website gives the customer False information when booking a total package trip. If your customer chooses a combo package like Flight + Hotel + Car rental, often all three options do not display, and your customer thinks they are included sense this is what he/she chooses in the beginning when making their selection. Since your website does not say, the car is not included in package price. After purchase a window displays to add a rental car.
The customer services says that during the package, the rental car was not found to be available, but immediately after checkout, of me giving Them all payment information and charging my card, the car is available for selection. I found this to be extremely deceptive business practice, as my package price was for nearly $7,000 dollars, not including the car, so I found out. First you say the car is in the package, then it's not? Now I have to wait unto 2 weeks to get all my money back. While others may go along with this deceptive business transactions I will not. I believe it is much more important to be honest with people you do business with, than to think your so big, you can take advantage of people, interests, and money.
