Best Buy Complaint - Terrible Customer Service
PASADENA, CALIFORNIA -- I used a virtual account number to order a portable drive to be picked up in the Pasadena Best Buy store. A week ago, I got another item and picked up in the same store too and I was told at that time that as long as I showed the ID and a credit (not necessary showing the same virtual account number), then I can pick up the item. Today, I went to pick up my portable drive and I have a hard time. I gave the employee my ID and a credit card and I was told that I can only pick up that item showing the account number that I used to purchase the portable drive. I told her that it is a virtual account and I have other credit cards showing my name and my ID with the same address that I have on my order. However, she refused to let me pick up my order unless I can tell her the last 4 digits of the virtual account number. Therefore, I have to go through my emails to find it and she went to another counter to help the returns. After I found the numbers, she kept on helping other customers. The other employee helped the customers behind me and I waited for more than half and hour, then I asked the other employee if she could help me. That was really bad, how can they just left the customer wait for half and hour and the other employee just ignored me and helped the customers behind me.
