Dish Network Complaint - Takes advantage of customers
I was visiting my mother, and one evening the Dish Network went out. My mom said this had been happening quite often when it rained. I was concerned this was the stormy time of the year, and my mother is 73 years old and she takes care of my 50 year old severely handicapped brother, so we depend on the TV for weather bulletins. We waited, then called to ask what the problem was. Out of 4 calls that night, I was told, we needed to adjust the dish, it was the box in one of the bedroom, last it was the box in the living room. We were also told they could not get anyone out to look for a week. The next day I called again to see if I could do anything to help my mom. This continued for the next 3 days. On the 3 day we decided to just cancel, after we cancelled they said they could get someone out in 2 days. Now they are harassing my mom for the stupid 200.00 contract fee, she only had a few months, and she was never late. They talked to her and myself so rude. Now her credit is threatened, because of a calling centers lying operators. We will never get dish again.
