GMC Complaint - GMC Envoy
NEW JERSEY -- Check engine light stays on. Took it to dealer(muller cheverlot) they refused to work on it the first time. Said it had to fail inspection. When came time for inspection the Envoy failed. Do to emissions. Call muller cheverlot back. They said they would work on but I would have to pay over $500 dollars for the part. I said it was under the federal law they would have to fix it. They still tried to make me pay for it. I told them forget it. They were very rude and disrepectful to me. After going back and forth with them all day about fixing the problem. They called me and said gmc would "goodwill" them the part. So I don't have to pay. We picked the car up the next day. The light is still on. I called them back, they said you have to drive the car up to 300 hundred miles for the light to go out. It is now over 300 miles and the light is still on. I will never buy another gmc product if this is the trouble I will have. Now I have a car that won't pass inspection, muller cheverlot (the service manager) treated me with no respect. Very rude and disrespectful. I am afraid to call them back and tell them the problem is still happening. I will never recommend them to anyone.
