Radio Shack's Insurance Complaint - I Won't Do This Again
KNOXVILLE -- I purchased my cellphone thru sam's warehouse with Verizon as my provider with an insurance program. After owning the phone for a yr, the virtual keyboard had a line of letters I cld not use. I took the phone back to sam's for my repairs and Radio Shack had moved out of Sams's with no notification to their customers. I then went to Radio Shack(rs)and the representative there was helpful. He gave me phone # to call. I then found I had to do without my phone for 3-5 days(we shall see about that) or pay $500 for a temp replacement. This felt like I am being punished for a faulty phone after buying insurance to prevent this very problem. I am so frustrated. I called them and told them I wld absolutely not do w/o a phone for 3-5 days and would absolutely not pay $500 like I was the one at fault. Their ins policy is crap. They shd fix this or not deal with cell business.
