Pizza Hut Complaint - Poor Service - I believe that some of the employees need training in courtesy
ABINGDON, VIRGINIA -- I recently (Friday evening, 10/21/11) ordered two large super supreme pizzas from our local Pizza Hut for carry out. I was told when I ordered that it would be twenty minutes. Not unusual, but when I called for the pizzas at pick up, I was told it would be a few more minutes.
While I patiently waited, several other customers, some dining in and some for pick up where waited on before me. Finally one of the cooks noticed I had been waiting for some time, and he asked for the name and went immediately and got the boses out of a stach of ready pizzas. I still had to wait for the lady checking people out to assist me. Finally I said "Guess I'll walk out and not pay for these($26.88). She finally waited on me and when I paid for my pizzas with a local bank check which had my telephone nnumber on it, she wanted a second number! I couldn't believe this! I told her I lived alsone and only had one telephone number. I informed her that if my personal check with this information on it wasn't good enough, regardless of her stating that this was company policy, I would not pay for the pizzas. She finally took the check on had no thank you, have a nice evening or anything of the like. Some business whith a person thike this behind the counter and at the cash register! The name on the ticket is Pat on duty at 6:34pm.
Please be wary if there is a large fat woman behind the register!
