My3cents.com - What happened to my3cents mobile?
I used to enjoy reading reviews on my way to the office in the mornings, now though, when I go to my3cents on my cell phone's web browser it pulls up the whole site. I know I can click on a review, and choose the mobile option, but when clicking 'home' from that review, it will give me the 404 page not found error.
Previously, accessing my3cents.com from my mobile phone would automatically pull up the mobile version.
Anyone know what happened?

I don't think M3C ever had a mobile version.

It did. You can still view individual reviews by clicking on the mobile link in each review. But you could also type my3cents.com/mobile and it would bring you to the home page without any graphics or ads, and have each review listed.

The site had a bad crash a few weeks ago and they did not seem to have a proper recent back-up. If they had to revert to a very old back-up it may not have had the mobile included. That's just a guess as I never knew there was a mobile edition in the first place.

I was gonna say the same thing as Old Timer...it's most likely caused by the crash. Addy is still working on some details to get everything up an running and they may not have known about the issue. I'll notify them and direct them to this thread, in case they don't catch it.

It pulls up just fine on my cell phone. That error page pulls up if a review gets pulled

When you say you read reviews on your way to work, I certainly hope you are riding in a bus or taxi. Please tell me you are intelligent enough not to be reading reviews while driving. As a former LEO, I have seen many more times than one, proof that driving is not conducive to multi-tasking. Stay strong, stay safe.

That's because you're an apple gal momsey. I imagine with lesser technology like android one needs a special rendering of the site in order to alleviate the limitations of their inferior devices.

There's no proof that iphone is better quality. When it comes to smartphones, apple is behind android, in features and market share. You are living in your own world if you think apple has defeated android. All you have to do is look at the facts.

I think when people speak of the iPhone, it's a given that the iOS is implied. At least that's how I see it.
