Sears Complaint - Poor Customer Service
BRAINTREE, MASSACHUSETTS -- I recently purchased a craftsman workbench from Sears online. Because shipping would have been in excess of $70 I picked it up with the help of a friend (over 100 lbs). Upon opening it at home I noticed it was damaged. I phoned customer service asking them to pick it up at my house because it was damaged by them, not me. If they can deliver then they can arrange for pickup-- other retailers do it as a matter of course. I was passed from customer service representative to customer service representative They were very hesitant to connect me with a supervisor, and despite waiting over 20 minutes for a supervisor none came on the line. Very unimpressed with Sears and will be canceling my family's account. No excuse for such poor service.
