Texas Roadhouse Compliment - My new favorite Restaurant.

Compliment
Review by Wally86 on 2011-10-23
PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- I went out today with my family to Texas Roadhouse, for lunch. This is the first Time I went to this Restaurant. Has a nice Texan atmosphere to it, Country music blaring when you walk in, peanut shells all over the floor nice!!!. *Feel sorry for the clean up crew*

We were seated right away and they gave us complimentary rolls with cinnamon butter, and a bucket of peanuts. The rolls were delicious, I ordered a 12 ounce Ribeye with a side of mashed taters and green beans. My Steak was very flavorful and Delicious. The sides were very Delicious as well. Our server took good care of us. The prices are very affordable my steak was $15.79 which is very reasonable for a 12 ounce cut Ribeye.

I will be coming back to Texas Roadhouse for sure. And like I said its my new fave restaurant.

Good review Wally.

I tried TRH 4 times. The service was horrendous on three of four visits. The first time, I let it go. The second time, I spoke with the manager and brought both the current and previous experiences to his attention. He apologized and told me the server I had that night had just broken up with her boyfriend.

He gave me a coupon for a freee visit on the house. When I went back to use the coupon, the server took 15 minutes to greet me, and she had tears in her eyes. I was like "Oh no! You didn't break up with your bf, did you?" She got all embarrassed and the rest of her service sucked too.

And that was the end of my great TRH experiment. I hope that you continue to have good luck.

Good review Wally! I don't think we have TRH out here.

trm, you are braver than most. Two bad visits would have been more than enough for me but hey, even I can't let a free coupon go to waste.

I love TRH. The rolls are really delicious, the food is amazing, and the prices are reasonable. I've always had good service too

Love me some TRH. I don't think we've ever had bad service. They've screwed up our order once or twice in the last ten years, but they're really quick to correct it, sometimes even before we realize it!

I've heard comments from other people similar to Trmn8r's, but I guess we've been lucky. I just wish we lived closer to one (nearest one is an hour away)

Reminds me of Bill Johnsons Big Apple back in the day, they used to have sawdust all over the floor. Every time I go back home I make my family take me for some deep dish apple pie.. Just can't find any like that here in the midwest.

We've got a couple around here and it looks interesting enough to give it a try. Looks like the food is right up my alley. Good review, Wally!

I have never been to Texas Roadhouse but the pharmaceutical rep would bring lunch to our office. Delicious indeed!

Never been a big fan of the peanut bar style of restaurant. But there is a TRH in Albuquerque, which is about 2-3 hours from here. I'll give it a try next time I drive down there.

Nice review, Wally!! I've eaten at TRH in Coeur d'Alene and in Albuquerque. The food isn't bad, but the country music makes me lose my appetite.
Posted by Wally86 on 2011-10-24:
lol JC, I wasn't feeling the country music either. Or when the employees started doing the two step to some country song. But either way I had a good time great place to get a good steak at a reasonable price.

The Texas Roadhouses around here are very popular. Always long waits. Even the one in the south side loco's crime-ridden area is always packed. Okies love the Texas Roadhouse.

Good review Wally86.

Two stepping in the middle of your meal? I hope you didn't leave a tip....lol

There is another chain near me that does the server-line dance thing. That would make me lose my appetite too.
