Dish Network Complaint - Disconnect fees charged after months of bad service
SLC, UTAH -- After several disconnects and restarts every day, calling customer service with issues of connection and lost signals, I finally cancelled my service. They now want to charge me $70.00 for leaving their service after all of that (I know they have record of how many times we have called0 with issues and that doesn't take into account the times we just lost signal and had to wait 10 minutes in the middle of a show to re-acquire the signal. THey also want to charge me for sending back their equipment, they don't even have a local place to drop it off yet they clearly had someone local to initially drop it off! When I called to cancel they kept me on the phone forever and promised to send out a technician. WHen I told them this had done no good in the past, they started adding charges andsaid if I didn't agree to them, they couldn't disconnect me andI would continue to be billed. If this isn't resolved, I am going to spread my experience loud and clear. This is unfair and some one should start a classaction law suit.
