Expedia Complaint - NEVER USE THEM - Hotels.com
I booked a hotel room 4 months ago with Expedia Hotels.com and was charged in full for the room. 3 days prior to departure I was told my reservation was cancelled and given 2 very low end motels to choose from with no mention of a refund for the differential from the hotel we booked vs. the 2 options offered. I was told that the reservation was cancelled because we booked through a third party provider and the hotel was overbooked. I had to fight with the hotel, with no help from Expedia, and finally did get the room. Dealing with Expedia was horribla and getting a full refund was even more difficult. I would never book a hotel through them and will no longer book air flights with them either.
