classic closeouts Complaint - Unable to get refund
NEW YORK -- While I am on a roll, I would like to mention this company and induct them into the Hall of Shame, along with Verizon.
In January I placed my first order with this company, Classic Closeouts. One item I received was a coat. The coat's size ran extremely small. I subsequently returned the coat immediately with the proper documentation.
I waited a reasonable period for my refund and it didn't come. I began contacting the company and was told my credit card had been refunded. I checked my statement and no credit was listed. I continued to request my credit and also stated I was told it was refunded, however, that was not the case. Then I was told the refund would be researched, as it was a different department, blah, blah, blah. I STILL have not received a refund!!! I resorted to filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau approximately two months ago. I have received no response whatsoever from either Classic Closeouts or the Better Business Bureau. The quality of the items I purchased was very poor. That fact combined with the fact that I did not receive the refund that I was without question due. BUYER BEWARE here too. A word to the wise. This company is located somewhere in Long Island, NY. I don't have the address with me at the moment...
