Spirit Airlines Compliment - Avoid This Airline At All Cost
FLORIDA -- This is one airline to avoid at all cost. The "customer service" should be called " customer disservice ". My mistake should have been an easy fix, but turned into a real fiasco. I tried to check in online from Costa Rica. Through some confusion, I hit the carry on bag button, I did not have carry on luggage. That was a $60 mistake. When I got to the airport, they refused to refund the fee. I waited until I got back to Ft. Lauderdale to try again. I went to customer " disservice" counter to appeal to the agent. She was very rude and said they would not refund the fee. I asked to speak to the supervisor. Kerlyne, employee #62856. She was rude and obnoxious, said they do not do refunds, it is Spirit policy. Call their lawyers. The baggage disclaimer says they will not issue refunds. Long story short, the flights are constantly delayed, planes are nasty, employees are surely. Whatever difference there is for another airline, it is worth it. Do you really want to pay $3 for water? I will never fly this airline again. If I can just get someone reading this review to avoid Spirit, I would have done my job. It was my mistake, yes, but Don't criticize me until you are in the position of having to deal with this airline. No other airline would treat you this way and have any expectation of staying in business for the long run.
