Bob Rohrman Toyota Complaint - Bob Rohrman Gouges - Prius 2010

Review by aeroflight11 on 2011-10-28
FORT WAYNE, INDIANA -- I bought a 2010 Prius approximately eight months ago, for $29,000.. from Bob Roheman. When I went to trade it on a 2012 Prius (big one)found out they were only willing to give me $15,000. so they were willing to give me only 1/2 on a trade. My salesman was Mike Smith. My car has only 15,000. miles on it, is very clean, exterior is excellent. Prius owners beware, especially if you purchased from Bob Rohrman! You got ripped off without even knowing it.

I purchased my first car from there..........and got ripped off to the tune of about 10k. I was young and didn’t know much about cars. They sold me something that looked cool and I got taken for a ride at the expense of my wallet. I agree they are snakes. That being said education is the key when buying a car. NEVER buy same day you look, always do intimate internet research before you even go out looking and line up your own financing. Also get a full check up on it with your own mechanic ( learned that the hard way too……..they sold me a car with a faulty transmission and instrument panel) I am sorry they got you too!

car depreciate as soon as you drive them off the lot. You also bought a used car which you paid much more for than the trade in value. I just traded a 9 year old car and they gave me 4K which was more than the value of the car and are selling it for 11K. If you don't like the trade, don't take it and go somewhere else. But be aware, they know you really, really want a new car (because you only bought this one 8 months ago) and they probably think they can get top dollar off of you. My advice is to walk away and keep the car you have!
