Complaint
Review by nala142345 on 2011-11-03
LAKEWOOD, WASHINGTON -- Ok so I'm in the drive thru and give them my order the girl who took my order was not friendly at all. When I drove upto the window she had already started handing me my drinks before I had even compleatly stopped the car which was rude. I waited for my order for 15 minutes everything was crammed into one bag squishing one of the burgers the quality of food was poor old fries and soggy buns. They didn't even get my order correct I was missing food which I noticed when I got home so compleatly ruined dinner I wasn't going to drive 15 miles back to the restaurant. So I called and told her and she said oh we have it here and giggled which I didn't feel was a laughing matter. So she said you can come back or I will put you on a list I don't think I will return this is my first time going to the lakewood Carls Jr and it was not a good experience. I will discourage all my friends and family from going their someone needs to look at whos running that branch.....

While I have had nothing but great service and food every time I've ate at Carl's Jr, I realize that isn't always the case with everyone else.

What I'm glad to see in your review is that you've singled out this one particular establishment, instead of condemning the entire corporation. Good review!

Waiting longer than 5 minutes would have given me a clue about the place.

The only thing Lakewood has going for it are the military families that reside there. Beyond that, Lakewood is nothing more than T town's Hilltop neighborhood running mate for Washington's worst of the worst.

Swimjim, if your order takes less than five minutes, it has been prepared and stored under heatlamps for an unknown time. It is a fact of science that food does not cook in seconds. It takes time to cook food and prepare it for consumption. If five minutes is too long a time to wait, then you will not get quality food. The term fast food is a sign of poor quality, you can have good food or you can have fast food, you cannot have good fast food. Try cooking a few meals at home and see how long food takes to cook.

That is entirely incorrect starloard. It takes a single piece of meat (usually are placed 3 at a time in a row) 2.5 minutes to fully cook through the charbroiler. Buns are half that time. The cook has the time to prepare the buns with condiments by the time the meat is ready. All sides take 2.5 minutes to fry as well. If the cook multitasks and order numbers are low (keep in mind there ARE other people in front of you) you shouldn't have to wait more then 3.5 minutes total to get your order out. And on a side note.. Carls JR policy is they cannot hold a premade sandwich for more then 5 minutes after its been made. (for example if someone changes their order mid way and the cooks have already starting preparing the burger) everything is made to order, nothing is premade (making 5 westerns in advance and push to sell them) .. hope this clears anything up
