T-Mobile Informative - Is $30 really more than what T-Mobile's customers are worth?

Review by noelentine18 on 2011-11-05
I am unbelievably pissed right now. I've been a T-Mobile customer for 5 freaking years. This month they screwed me over with a huge bill for the supposed "data" I used, and after an hour of talking to their extremely unhelpful customer service agents, including one who hung up on me after I asked to speak with his manager, NOTHING was done to rectify the situation. No refund, no apology, NOTHING. My contract expires this coming June. You better BELIEVE I am switching to another provider when that happens.

Call back to T-mobile and ask for their customer retention number. It might take them a few days, but they will get back to you and try to rectify the situation. Don't let them intimidate you either. But I've had a sever situation taken care of by them.

Another well satisfied T-Mobile customer I see. Yeah right, you have every right to be pissed. To correct this problem try to bypass their extraordinary inept customer service. Demand to speak with a supervisor or as Kris10 suggested go right to their customer retention. They are stone walling you and as a long time customer you deserve better.

They're not worried because I don't think any one of the cell phone companies is better than the next. They make you mad and you switch, but they know that one of their competitors has angered someone else who will then switch to T-Mobile.

I fought with T-Mobile for a petty amount as well. Now I'm with Sprint. I don't know how Sprint's customer service is, because I haven't had any problems so far. I don't suspect they would be any better, though.

All great comments. Pretty soon there will be just one cell phone company left after all the take-overs. Then we will pay what they want with zero recourse. Their Lobby Dogs in Congress will make sure they are allowed to screw us over to any tune they want too.

I feel your pain...

Ive been a steady customer of T MOBILE .For over four years now and in the past year this company has let me down quite a bit.Ive called about the price of my bill numerous times and my ability to afford the amount it always seems to add up to. upwards of 105.00 for a single line . My contract was ended a few months before i made a phone call to customer service to end my relationship with your phone company. This sales rep. if you will, apologized and speedily suggested he could offer me the plan you were offering to new customer with unlimited talk ,text, web for 79.99 a month, with an extension of my contract a agreed to do so only if my bill was that amount he described. Not one month since has it been that amount or even close. Every single month it is 100.00 or more ,and that is not a difference of pennies.I am twenty three years old and i support my household and work very hard for my money.I feel very violated that i chose this company and they deceived me in order to keep my money going to them verses their competitors. It is very irritating to say the least.I called two months ago to speak to someone about this problem with little success, he was not well informed on procedure, nor customer service. He agreed to take a 10.00 addition off of my bill, which was a LIE, he new very well i found out this evening that he couldn't deduct that amount, the computer system wont allow it.I asked if there was a way to lower my bill at this point and the cust. serv. suggested switching from classic to "value" service , but of course that would be a fee of 200.00 from the company I would've severed ties with when my contract ended had i not been deceived in the first place. I realize this of course is not your doing ,however as a member of the company i would hope you'd find it important that someone correct this situation ,immediately ,it is far from good business practice. So if you cannot help id greatly appreciate you referring me to someone who can because I've lost my faith, patience with T MOBILE as a whole.
