At 128k miles on my 2003 Honda Odyssey, the transmission just quit working. Stranded me and my wife in the middle of a busy highway. From what I can find out on the internet this is a common problem with Honda Transmissions. I know my neighbor has a 2010 Accord and the same thing happened to him. I called the dealer I bought it from and got a quote of $4,457.00 for a remanufactured transmission, needless to say I contacted 3 local Transmission Shops and they all gave me a quote of around $2100.00. I am having it fixed but will never buy a HONDA, and advise anyone else looking for a new vehicle to look else where. Just look on the intrnet at the transmission problems!
