Ashley Furniture Complaint - JUNK Furniture - Cabinet
CONROE, TEXAS -- My husband and I went to Ashley Furniture to buy a cabinet to place our cable box, DVD, etc in. When arriving the sales lady greeted us and we told her we wanted to just look around. She STALKED us through the entire store. We were trying to look and discuss our finances as we decided on the piece that was right for us. My husband got so tired of seeing her peek around every corner watching us he wanted to leave. As we were walking out the store we noticed the perfect cabinet right by the door but decided to go directly to the warehouse (where we would pick it up anyway) to buy. We bought the cabinet and was told it had to be ordered and would be available for pick up in 5 days. My husband picked the cabinet up and when we took it out of the box noticed there were spots on it that were not sanded or stained. Then upon opening the drawer saw that the drawer was cracked in half. We called customer service and they told us we had to wait for a "furniture tech" to come out to evaluate and repair the piece. This was to take 2 weeks. We wanted to return the piece and have them order a new one as it had not been in our possession for even 1 hour. They refused. I bought new furnitue and paid cash for it. Now I'm waiting almost a month for someone to look at it and "repair" it! Obviously I'm not the only person that they sell junk to as their furniture tech is really busy. I will NEVER buy from Ashley Furniture again!
