Chemdry of Wichita Compliment - Finally Happy With Carpet Cleaning

Review by amarie on 2011-11-07
WICHITA, KANSAS -- Two years ago, I purchased my home and had new carpets installed. The manufacturer recommended I get them steam cleaned once a year. The first year, I used a national company. The man who came to my home was very pushy and kept trying to get me to purchase additional services -after he was done, my carpets were SOAKED. I had to have someone come back out TWO DAYS later and extract more water from my carpet! After they were dry (finally) I felt a sticky, oily residue on the carpet for months!!!

This time, on the recommendation of a co-worker, I decided to try Chemdry. I was hesitant to use another steam cleaning company, but I'm sure glad I did! The tech arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and polite(not to mention clean-cut. They use a carbonation solution and my carpets were dry in a matter of HOURS!!!. I have twin boys who crawl on the carpet, so I was also happy that the cleaning solution was safe and non-toxic. There was no issue whatsoever with a film or residue - the carpets felt brand new!! When I called back in to express my pleasure, I found out that this Chemdry is locally owned. I really felt like they cared about me and my home, I like the fact that I am helping a local small business. I will recommend them to everyone I meet!!

The last two times I've had my carpeting cleaned they were wet, really wet, until the next day. I was angry because they were to be dry completely within perhaps 4 hours max. I had put socks on before walking on the carpet and they were wet, not damp, wet. I looked up Chem-Dry and we have a local office here. I just might give them a call because my carpeting needs to be cleaned.

How are they at spot removal on carpeting?
