Travelocity Complaint - Miserable Excuse For A Travel Agency
I went to the Travelocity website my first, only and last time to book a Quick Trip. I found the flight, hotel, and rental easily. However, the final payment screen was a shock. Travelocity had add an additional $163 in fees even though the hotel/flight price covered all fees and taxes. No problem I thought, I was in a hurry, and I had a 15% off coupon. However, the site would not accept my coupon code. So I called customer service (an obvious misnomer). My customer service call to India lasted 3 hours. All the representatives I spoke to were friendly but were unable to help and put me on hold for very, very, very long periods of time. Finally, I decided to pay the extra fee and give up on the coupon-I had invested a lot of time and it was very late in the evening. But, after listing my credit card info I was unable to pay unless I subscribed to a "verification service." I finally wised-up, did not buy from Travelocity and quit the Travelocity website. Travelocity is a blackhole of time/money. Travelers beware!!!
